With late season access to some Maine wild blueberries, we capture a bit of "the way life should be" in this rich, full-flavored winter sour. Mainer Weisse has a nose of ripe berry and cinnamon spice, warming hints of the holidays. Its sips fruity, tart, and bold, finishing with a sweet and surely-sour bite. It is blue and it is beautiful.

    Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 6

Pours hazy bluish brown with a thin buff head. Malty aroma has a strong blueberry overtone, sweet but not cloying. Fruity flVor is just a little sour, with a malty undertone. Mouthfeel has thin body and not much fizz, but a nice sour berry finish. Give a hoot.
