LCBO Outlet #649 (Milton, Ontario, Canada - Sobey's Plaza)
473ml can
4.50% ABV
Canned On: February 23, 2022
$2.40
The beer pours a solid black with a bubbly brown head that stays for a few minutes. There is no lacing. The aroma is roasted malt, nuts, soy sauce, and coffee. The mouthfeel is thin to medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is similar to the aroma with roasted malt, soy sauce, and coffee as the predominant notes. Nickel Brook can make a much better stout than this. Having been canned only 9 weeks ago I would have expected.
