    ughh this beer is horrible, but then again i don't like alot of english style dark ales so i freely admit i am not being fair. i have nothing more to say. final grade: F

    Poured a deep chestnut color with a 1finger sand colored, frothy head which reduced to 1CM cap that rode out the drink. Aromas of subdued nuts and caramel. Mouthfeel is meduim bodied with accets on carmelized malts which give a mildly syrupy impression because of the oily texture (very nice) while the hops take a back seat...finish is surprisingly clean and you can taste the hops afterward...another nice mellow brew from NFB

    Thin white head. Aroma is clean. Faint caramel notes. Pretty good. Nothing to complain about. Thanks again Lubiere.

    I have found this ale to have a sweet aftertaste and dark appearance with a small head. I enjoy this beer regularly when I would like more than a summer style thirst quencher.

    Malty, slightly sweet, medium bodied, nice amber to slightly dark color. Very pleasant. Also, elevated in alcohol content, but I don’t recall the abv.. I had this one in the Niagara on the Lake region of Ontario, where everyone else was drinking wine, and I must say - I really enjoyed myself.
