The beer pours a very dark brown, quite opaque, and topped with a thick brown creamy cap. Lots of roasted malt, coffee, and molasses in the aroma. Very sweet aroma. Mouthfeel is full. Flavor is a tad on the sweet side with caramel, toffee, and molasses. The finish is not all that bitter. Alcohol is well hidden.

How could I resist a beer with a name like this? It pours a nearly black sable that lets just a chink of light in at the bottom of the glass, and has a good light tan head. Aroma has notes of molasses and roast coffee. Smoky flavor has caramel, licorice and coffee notes plus just a hint of hot peppers. Firm, smooth texture is quite fizzy and lively.

Fernando Torres is such a little girl .. . Pours a deep black brown, decent foam .. light roast, burnt toffee, coffee and the dark side .. . pretty good stuff, expected maybe more heft to it but a damn enjoyable brew- but only super popular because of nerds .. . . http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gx9LM_oC2OU

Ended the evening on a great note with this hefty yet approachable stout. Complex aroma of dark, luscious malts and fresh milk. Some green hop aroma as well. Smells amazing with a much different scent than any imperial stout I can recall, odd thing is I still can not place what perked my interest so much. Dark, opaque body with a lasting and surprisingly thick head coupled by some good lacing. Rich and thick with plenty of bitter, roasted feeling yet it finished fairly dry and exceptionally smooth. No trace of booze, more along the lines of an oatmeal or milk stout with the mouthfeel. Layers of toast, coffee, chocolate/fudge and creamy milk flavors. Bitter malt and hops countered by a fine sweetness. Some dark fruits and rich caramel. Good show, awesome bottle label.

Lovin' this stuff. Pours black with a thin dark tan head and decent lacing. Huge aroma, charcoal, sweet espresso, molasses, and dark chocolate. Flavor is remarkably drier and roastier than the aroma. Blackstrap molasses, charcoal and light raisin notes up front, smooths out into smoky espresso and dark chcolate, and finishes out with some wood, anise, and pine. Long lasting bitter and smoky roasty dryness.
