Blondes are a favorite style among New Belgium employee-owners who have celebrated their 5-year anniversary with a spring trip to Belgium. These travels inspired our Spring Blonde and brought some old Belgium to New Belgium. Brewed with pale and Munich malts, this golden ale pours bright copper and holds a strong, white head aloft. A nose of lemon peel, pepper, and fresh baked bread entice a sipping. Spring Blonde drinks malty, sweet and wonderful. And the easy Nugget hopping pedals towards a dry, lightly bitter finish. Shed that coat, grab some bikes, and crack some beers.

Pours a clear solar yellow with a thick, pale yellow-buff head. Aroma is fruity and yeasty, the former mainly pear and apple with a citrus touch. Flavor adds some malt to the mix, but fruit and yeast notes still have their role in the play on the palate. Texture is smooth and pleasing, if lacking in fizz. Good way to welcome spring - and the final arrival of warm weather.

Very yellow and clear with a thin white doily afloat. Appley sweet aroma with candy and orange juice. More bitter than it smells: a little bite but still fruity, appley but not tart. Prickly and wet.

Clear golden but with a nice fluffy white head and good legs. Aroma is a little musty, with some yeasty spice and understated lemon. Decent prickly but crisp feel. Flavor pops a little more than the nose.

A clear yellow colored beer with a foamy white head rising above. There’s some hang time on the head. It settles into a light cap moderate foamy ring. The nose is of malt, grain, grass, and lemon. The taste is much the same with sweet malt, grass, and citrus flavors on the finish. There is a very mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel.
