We made this easy-drinking kölsch in honour of our late friend Kirk Evans. He loved life and where he was the laughs were there too. Kirby's Kölsch is a crisp session beer with a hint of peach, best enjoyed with friends. Cheers to Kirby!. - See more at: http://www.muskokabrewery.com/kirbys-kolsch.php#sthash.dLFuVH9r.dpuf

Pretty average brew. Swillish, but quaffable. Really poor head with a thin cap that dissipates quickly and has a poor colour. Says something about peach on the can but I didn't denote any peach either in the nose or the taste. Body was the best thing about this. Muskoka can do better

Pours a light golden-blonde colour with a foamy off-white head, good retention and lots of soapy lace. Breaded malt aromas with fruity hints (like peaches) and some nice mild hops. The taste has very light grainy flavours found in this style, but the hops is a little strong for it. Some dryness in the finish. The grain lingers with gassy notes. A decent brew, but a little to hoppy for a Kölsch.

Pours an average size frothy head but goes away quickly. Has a pale golden appearance. Some nice sticky lacing. Aromas of toasted and bready malts, also a bit sweet malts. Flavours are fairly sweet, some bready malts, hints of herbal hops. A bit of spices as well. Has quite a bit of bitterness on the palate in the finish with a slick and drying mouthfeel. Kind of like bubblegum aftertaste as well. Pretty good overall.
