Munkholm Münchener is a dark, rich and flavourful non-alcoholic beer with elements of roasted malts. The beer has a rich sweetness, a low fruitiness and a nice bitterness, and is a great accompaniment with classic Norwegian foods and fried meat dishes.

500 ml can, courtesy of Cardinal pub, Stavanger. This is not a "dark" n/a beer like the label says, it is a golden n/a beer, deep golden if you like. Fluffy white head. The aroma has some of the same sweetish and "boiled" notes of the other Munkholm beers (bad), but there are also some flowery aromatic hops around (good). Flavour is pretty sweet with some weak caramel notes, but there are just enough hops around to make the beer drinkable if cold. Hell, it’s a n/a beer, and you don’t expect much, but if you HAVE TO drive, or avoid alcohol of other reasons, this is the "best" Munkholm beer I’ve had so far.
