Rich, black with a bold thick dark tan head. Chocolate and toffee aroma that translates to the flavor. A nice sensory experience all around. Rich and velvety on the pallette. A stout worth seeking.

Sampled on draft at the brewery in Springfield, MO. Pours opaque blackened-brown with adequate head and lace. Aroma is dominated by fresh-brewed coffee and some earthy notes. Flavor is coffee, tobacco and cocoa. Full bodied and well-carbonated. A good stout, but not as sophisticated as SBC's other brews... or perhaps I am imparting my expectations gleaned from sampling SBC's 7 year itch, which is an incredible stout.
