44 on RB. Seems a bit harsh. They were really close, IMHO, to absolutely nailing this. For this pepper lover, the aroma was very enticing. Peppers galore, with some lagerish maltiness underneath. The flavor is very similar to that, but then the one issue pops up. No follow through. The finish is rather weak, and right when you expect the heat to hit the back of your throat...there isn't any. Well, there's a touch, but the lack of spice was the only real flaw. They had the flavor down, and the nose, but the mellow watery finish prevented this decent beer from being really good. I'd have again. I'm sure the heat varies.
