http://www.mothersbrewing.com/craft-beers/sandy/ This hopped-up unfiltered wheat pays tribute to our founder's mothers, Sandy. The spirit and malt bill of a Belgian Witbier fused with the hop and soul of an American Pale Ale, with just a touch of grapefruit zest, make Sandy subtly complex yet refreshingly crisp. BREWMASTER'S ORIGINAL NOTES* Belgian Wit malt bill, unmalted wheat, malted wheat, flaked wheat, torrified wheat. - spice or zest? orange, lemon, grapefruit? Pale Ale hop bill. 100% cascade? Keep the essence of both beers while creating something new. Unfiltered. Gold.

Sampled from bottle. Pours gold with nice lace. Pleasant citrus, floral aroma. The grapefruit is noticeable in the flavor. Same creamy mouthfeel as a wit with a bite of hops an aggressive carbonation. A blend of 2 of my favorite styles. Unique and enjoyable and still different than other white IPAs I've been seeing lately.
