This beer style is over 400 years old, and continues to enjoy overwhelming popularity. Offering low hop bitterness, it is easy to enjoy. It pours very hazy, with a light gold color... we say it's like summertime in a glass. Bitter orange peel and fresh coriander add zest and depth to this refreshing beer. Our Head Brewer Says... "Our Wit offers a light flavor that carefully balances sweet and tart. Can you guess the secret spice?" A great example from Mother Earth on one of my favorite styles. This bottle contained everything a well crafted Witbier should have. Mild coriander and lemon zest. Grassy and floral along with a nice spiced mild citrus flavor. Light and creamy, very drinkale and well rounded. Cloudy straw yellow body, frothy white head and thick lacing.

Aroma is strong and surprisingly fruity, having components of sour apple and orange. It pours a rather nice somewhat hazy amber with a decent white head. I noticed a few goobers floating around, but they were not off-putting. Flavor is sublime - wheaty and yeasty with an overtone of honey and good fruity notes, mainly sour orange with hints of apple and lemon, and as I continue to drink, herbal and clove tones - very tasty. Texture is smooth but only slightly fizzy, leaving a slightly sweet fruity finish. A good drink to enjoy in winter, this brings a little sunshine into a cold, cloudy day - and as I drink this, the weather is dreary, cold and wet.
