An enjoyable Doppel from the brewpub downtown. Slightly hoppy nose behind the expected malt attack. Dark brown and fairly clear with just enough german-esque hop bitterness to keep 'er in check. A balanced, big and tasty Doppel, a nice January warmer. To get this for a dollar a pitcher on Thursday nights was an absolute steal!
