Moa St Josephs is brewed in the traditional style of a classic Belgian Tripel. Strong spice and clove characters create complex flavours and aromas which are heightened by its extended bottle conditioning, with a combination of malt and candy sugars complimenting the high alcohol content produced by the Belgian ale yeast. Best served at 8°C in a goblet after gently rolling the bottle to distribute the sediment signature.

A murky orange colored beer with a bog sudsy textured, white head rising above. There's good hang time on the head. It settles eventually a thin ringlet. Spicy and fruity profile. A moderate slick body.

Cloudy, more khaki than yellow, with dense tall head becoming a dense thick cap, coating the sides of the glass. Aroma includes elements of banana, cloves, lemon juice, vanilla. Tastes as it smells, only moreso, yet without being awfully sweet. Spicy, bready. After some bad yeast experiences recently, this is what yeast should taste like: the Kiwis have done Belgium right. A little sticky, just the right carbonation, heavy as one expects a tripel to be.

Muted golden yellow pour with a fluffy white head and ample lacing. Spicy and zesty aroma with requisite Belgian yeasts, ripe fruits, floralness. taste mimics the aroma. Very nice effort indeed.

Exceptional! Terrific example of the style from down yonder. Pours crisp yellow with a bright white head and tons of lacing. Expected peppery wonderfulness, sweet finish.
