This Doppelbock is a thick, smooth and stronger lager brewed in the traditional doppelbock style. Plenty of Munich malts and darker caramel malts give it a rich and full-bodied flavor. It is a typical stronger beer and contains enough malty goodness that it has been considered for centuries as a meal in a glass.

Another brew from Mr. Heemer. Poured a dark reddish brown. Thin tan head. Nose is a little weak. Some soft roasted malt character, plum and chocolate notes.

Dark copper colored brew with a thin off white head. The nose is massively sweet caramel and dusty old library books. There is also some pear and cinnamon. The taste is fairly sweet with peanuts and toffee. There is also some black tea and a hint of roasted nuts. This is pretty good except the finish was dusty with hints of apple core.
