Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 8
330 ml capped bottle, as a 7.0 % ABV. Poured an unfiltered and strong hazy deep brown coloured Ale with a small one finger beige foamy head that had a short retention and plenty of micro bubbles. Soft carbonation. Some lacing. Some floating sediments. The aroma is moderate malty, caramel, dark fruits, raisins, vinous notes. The flavour is caramel malts, toffee, brown sugar, spicy, licorice, cinnamom, nutmeg, fruity, apples and grassy hops. The mouthfeel is quite thick and a bit sticky. This medium to full bodied Ale has a long bitter and malty finish. A Belgian Ale with character.

Bottled@Kerstbierfestival, Essen.Ambery brown colour with a mediumsized off-white head. Leaves slight lace. Aroma is spices, caramel malts, fruits and some mild notes of grass. Flavour is yeast, spices, grassy hops. A nicely balanced grass/hopbomb.
