Created originally at the Toronto Beer Hall in collaboration with the Indie Rock Band July Talk. A golden lager, made with pale malt and a hint of caramel malt. On the nose, cereal graininess and a touch of honey is accompanied by aromas of tree fruit and a slight woodiness. On the palate, it is super fresh, with tight grainy malt character and a hint of mint. It finishes incredibly dry with a slight bitterness. This beer is a clean, refreshing, honest summer pint – ideal for finishing off a rocking, sweaty set or a hard day’s labour.

The beer poured a translucent metallic gold with absolutely no head, just a very thin ring of film hugging the glass. The aroma is very grainy with a hint of earthy hops and yeast. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation, what good old fashioned lager drinkers would describe as ‘crisp’. The flavour is very grainy with just a hint of a bitter hop finish. Also in the finish is a bit of salinity, which was not a delightful surprise as this isn’t a gose! -

Part of their 2018 Canadian Brewpub Pack. Pours a clean light-golden colour with a frothy white head, good retention and some wavy foamy lacing. Very sweet malty nose with fruity hints. The taste is less sweet, but stil present with the cereal grains showing nicely. Again, some fruity tones. Almost like berries, sugars or Belgian yeast. Very mild hops in the finish, but a little dry. Bitterness seems to build a bit. Quite a nice lager all-around... and a great band.

On tap at Arrow and Loon. Pours a fair size of foamy beige head and has a pale golden appearance. Aromas of malts, fruits, grains. Flavours are quite fruity, they're really standing out in this one surprisingly. Most flavourful lager i've had in a long while. Maybe it's not really a lager? :p
