Came in their Summer Brewpub pack, recipe from their St. John's brewpub. Pours a clean golden colour with an off-white head, average retention and light foamy lacing. Malty aromas with the big cereal grains at first. Then, the macro-brews hop show up with the alcohol. The taste starts off again, malty with the cereal notes to then finish with the mild hops. Not sure this fits the California Common style completely, but it is an ok lager.

Part of summer brewpub pack (St John's brewpub). Pours an average size foamy white head but goes away fairly quickly. Has a clear golden appearance. Moderate carbonation. Aromas are mostly grainy and malted barley. Faint grassy notes. Flavours are mainly sweet malts, grainy and very subtle fruit notes. Mouthfeel is fizzy and dry. Good retention. Nothing much else going on.
