For most beers, the goal is to achieve a balance between malt sweetness and hop bitterness. But what do you do when there is no malt sweetness? You need to ?nd a hop that holds up: Enter New Zealand Motueka hops. These hops have a unique lemon-lime character and these citrus ?avours pop-out in this light & dry beer. The same enzyme that made Brut IPAs famous is employed to dry out this lager to a champagne-like ?nish. Only 110 calories and 4g of Carbs

Tall can from LCBO. Pours a big foamy, bubbly white head and has a straw coloured appearance. Slightly excessive carbonation. Big thick soapy lacing. Aromas of grains and wheaty malts, some subtle yeast hints. Flavours are mostly grainy malts, cereal, some subtle grassy notes. Actually quite bland overall.

The beer pours a clear pale gold colour with a bubbly white head which is short lived. The aroma is very citrusy, in a tropical fruit sort of way. There are also notes of grains and earthy hops. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is well balanced between the malt and the bitter citrusy notes of the hops. Very easy drinking. -

Can that pours a clean light golden colour with a bubbly white head that fizzes away at a medium pace and leaves some wavy foam lacing. Malty nose, but not too sweet, nor too rich for a lager, as balanced by the hops. Some cereal grain flavours show and the hops are lighter in the mouth. Refreshing, not too thin for such a low alcohol content. Pretty good for someone that needs a lighter lager, than a light lager.
