Pours out in a opaque black colour topped with a small creamy pale brown head. Tar, wood, anise, black pepper, black chocolate and burnt sugar in the rich and bold aroma. Full-bodied with rich and chewy notes of tar, wood, anise-seeds, salty licorice, black chocolate, honey and iodine. Long bitter and tarry finish of wood, tar, whiskey and honey.

Bottle, courtesy of Nøgne Ø representative at "Onsdag i Annen", Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Oak aged, a blend from several casks/barrels. Pitch black colour, brown creamy head. Strong aroma of whisky cask, dark chocolate, honey and coffee. Strong sweet flavour of honey and coffee, bitter finish, aftertaste of cocoa and dark bitter chocolate with some sourish and medicinal notes.
