330 ml capped bottle, B F 28/08/2024 and as a 12,12 % ABV. Poured in a half-pint glass an unfiltered, opaque and absolutely dark coloured I S, more dark is obviously impossible. Mikkeller George presents a half a finger dark-tan-caramel and soapy foamy head that had a short to moderate retention and tons of micro bubbles and some greater one. Low carbonation. Some lacing. The aroma is roasted coffee beans, roasted malts, spicy, vanilla and black chocolate tones. The flavour is an intense coffeish bitterness, roasted-burnt malts, chocolate, spicy, licorice and vanilla, a fruity touch, plums and a late emerging floral hoppy feeling. The mouthfeel is thick, heavy, fulled, viscousy and ... smooth. The texture is oily and the alcohol well hidden. This full boodied I S has a coffeish bitter finish. Waaoouuh ! A not so easy drinkable IS, overwhelmed by a heavy coffeish bitterness. Overall, tasty and well balanced, an impressive Imperial Stout. Good job.

heavy roasted malt, chocolate and coffee assault the senses. This one is a heavy hitter (as expected from a couple of the BA editions) though not as smooth as those...pretty damn solid. Warming but not hot.

“All right brain, you don't like me, and I don't like you. But let's just get me through this, and I can get back to killing you with beer.” 1992 is by far the most superior year of The Simpson’s there is!!!!! Blackish brown with a very limited dark chocolate cap. Smell is very nice, it smells exactly like a stout should nothing wacky or extreme just a really nice aroma. Chocolate, coffee, slightly burnt brown sugar, hints of soya sauce, and I’m getting this aroma stuck in my head that seems so wrong but I can’t shake it of mesquite BBQ chips. First sip mildly disappointed me it doesn’t seem as epic as the aroma, but it still has a nice thick flavour. Chocolate, light roast coffee, puffed wheat squares. What the hell!!! I totally taste mesquite BBQ chips it’s totally in here hiding under the sweet chocolaty malts. Beer is getting better now! Some saltiness, licorice, cinnamon harts. Perfumey alcohol starting show at bottom of glass. This was an awesome brew nothing over the top or experimental its just good!

Pours dark dark dark dark dark brown, also known as black, with a brown head which appears after pour, and only for a brief cameo. Unfortunately I just lost my wallet, so this is bitter sweet. Really good beer, but not a great tasting scenario. Dark Carmel, buttermilk, dark chocolate, coffee. There is some seriously burnt grain in here, which I like in one gulp and dont in the next. Its kindof a toss up. The texture is really syruppy and warming, the alcohol hidden behind a thin veil. The first half was fantastic, the second half it seems excessively bitter. Hmm, dont know about it. Draw serious parallels to the Nonge O impy stout, but this one is more bitter, and leaves a coating over the tounge. Really makes one salivate. Its really good, but a nameless person really hyped this for me and it was a bit of a dissapointment for me, but that could be losing the wallet.

Black as coal with a low low thick pale brown head. Molasses, milky chocolate, biscuits and coffee in the aroma. Full-bodied with fat notes of sweet dark chocolate, Arabic coffee, salt, burnt sugar and chocolate sauce. Long full, almost sticky finish of dark chocolate and burnt sugar.
