It pours a light-golden with a thin white head and copious lacing. An aroma of fresh barley malts, light hops, lemon, straw and grass, and yeast and spices. The mouthfeel is smooth and rich. Flavors of creamy sweet malts, hops, lemons, bitterness, grassiness, yeast, and some stinging spice - I thought it was alcohol, but the % is too low. Excellent, but $6 a 12 ounce bottle is steep.

this may be my favorite pilsner...definitely up there and the best without noble hops. i think i'fe only rated pine mountain higher. they just nailed this. nothing to say but they made a not very exciting style exciting. 7/11-i actually like the dream pils better than this one in the bottle, so i can't imagine how awesome that one is on tap.

330 ml bottle, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Beer, Stavanger. ABV is 4.6%. Golden colour, hazy in the end, big white head. Fairly nice aroma of floral and herbal Czech and German hops. The flavour is definitely on the hoppy side side, but there is also enough malty sweetness to back it up. Herbal character, some honeyish notes too. Good bitterness in the finish, but not too much. Clearly a pils well above average.
