Another smooth beer for 13%. This one, which I belie is 2010 but can't say for sure, falls in the middle of the black hole line for me...like the cognac, bourbon, red wine and base better, but liked this one better than the tequila, white wine and scotch. The barreling is not overbearing, making for a nice dessert beer as the honey and coffee are still very evident. If anything, just a bit too sweet, but definitely enjoyable.

Bottled. Pitch black colour, small brown head. Aroma is black hole with some wood and mild rum notes. Flavour is quite much the same. This is beautifully balanced and actually quite complex compared to the red wine one.

With the various examples of Black Hole, this was probably the strangest. Aroma and flavor really reminded me of fruit cake with the rummy notes. Lots of rum raisins, and lots of alcohol in this one. Black body, small scan 1/4" bubble layer. Black strap molassess also pops up everywhere in this beer. Not bad, but far from my favorite.
