I love Tripels and chili brews. Hope I will like this one with both in one. Pours an unfiltered light amber colour with a golden hue. Not hazed, but lots of tiny particles floating around, Warm frothy cap, good retention and creamy lacing. Nutty malt nose with fruity notes (apricots, raisins) with spices, yeast and even some hops. The taste is not super powerful, but the chili is present the whole time warming things up. Every sip gets stronger though. Some mild nuttiness, wood, toffee and fruits. Not sure about the tripel they brewed here, but the chili works out in the end. Gets hazy, even cloudy at last pour. Worth trying.

Hazy amber colour with no head or lacing. Mildly fruity and spicy aroma. Tripel and spicy what was I thinking when I bought this? What a surprise, the flavour is quite good. Candy sweetness, caramel malt, fruity, yeast, and peppery. Medium body. Enjoyed it but wouldn't buy again.

The beer pours a hazed pinkish gold colour with a thin light tan coloured head and plenty of effervescence. The aroma is grains, citrus, yeast, and peppers. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is sweet honey, citrus, peppers, and finishes with an alcohol bite. -

500 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, bestillingsutvalget. ABV is 9.2%. Hazy brownish amber colour, big to moderate white (or slightly off-white) head. Strong sweetish aroma of candy, syrup, Belgian ale yeast and chili, hints of honey. The flavour has sweet notes of malts and Belgian ale yeast, hints of honey and syrup, minimal hops. Not much chili flavour while the beer is in your mouth, but there’s a distinct chili burn in the aftertaste. A bit weird, but well worth sampling.

Bottled. Amber colour with small slightly off-white head. Aroma is spices, some yeast, fruits, mild grass and also some sweet alcohol. Flavour is caramel malts, some fruityness, yeast as well as spices. Also alcohol giving a nice burning touch along with the chili. Not a chilioverdose in the flavour, which makes this rather drinkable.
