pours a bright coppery brown color with a large off-white head that fades quickly and leaves a thin lace on the glass. The aroma is of caramelized malts, honey, tea and a decent amount of hops. The taste starts out sweet with flavors of caramel, honey & tea followed by a bready malt character that is hearty but not too heavy. The hops presence is mild but complementary and provides a decent balance. The after-taste is slightly sweet. The mouthfeel is smooth and crisp but a little watery, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.

It pours a dark reddish-browqn with trace of a light-tan head and no lace. Fresh aroma of caramel malts, light hops, citrus, raisin, and mild spices. The mouthfeel is smooth and rich. Flavors of the caramel malts, hops, light raisin, nutty, citrus, and spice. Impressive for AB ..

THis beer gives Irish Red Ale's a bad name. It pours out a rusty red hue, cleare, with a thin tan cap. Not a creamy cap either. The aroma is acidic in nature with caramel malt. It tastes awful with a lot of graininess and sweet caramel hints.

This is the last of the three Irish Ales I try tonight and with trepidation. Impressive in appearance. Reddish colored ale. Big off white creamy head rises above. Decent hang time. An impressive cap and film are left behind. The aroma is weak. What I get is sweet caramel. Medium bodied. Decently carbonated. Nice blending of malt and grassy hops. Really pretty good for something from a macrobrewery.

Pours a clear reddish-amber with a nice cream head and good lacing. Good carbonation. Aromas of slightly roasted malts and a tad bit of hops. Taste is a little thin for the style with a sweet malt base followed by a little hops and a dry finish. Very average but very drinkable.

Weak aroma, nasty mouthfeel and way too far on the sweet side. The head was thin and weak and did not last. A weak bit of lacing that disappeared almost immediately as the level of the beer dropped in the glass.

This poured an amber color with a quickly dimishing beige head. The aroma is fairly nice with some caramel, toffee, and buscuit notes. The flavor is rather bland with some buscuit and caramel being the primary flavors. The palate is quite watery. Overall might be a little better than Killians and it is cheaper. But not something to go out of your way for either. Average

This brew poured with a deep reddish-brown color with good clarity with a tall light tan head that dissipated pretty quickly. The aroma has a very sweet malt character and yeast with a touch of spice. Heavy malt sweetness with caramel light hop flavor. The mouthfeel is medium. Overall, very drinkable.

A medium khaki head tops a beautiful deep red mahogany. The aroma is rich deep caramel with some fresh cut wood. There is also a little bit of leather. The taste has some dry woodiness with a little bit of burning trash. There is also some weird bitter pear seed taste. A strange brew, that is drinkable, but not worth seeking out.
