Ce n'est pas une Stout, mais sa rondeur et sa douceur l'apparente plus à une bière de type belge, mat torréfié.

Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6
500 ml capped bottle. Poured in a stemmed glass a clear and dark brown-red coloured Abbey Dubbel with a one finger beige foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Soft carbonation. Poor lacing. The aroma is toasted malts, roasted coffee beans and an unpleasant sourish feeling. The flavour is sweety toasted malts, roasted coffee beans, caramel, brown sugar, ashes and, like as on the nose, an unpleasant sourish feeling. The mouthfeel is crispy, sparkling and quite thin. The texture is watery. This light to medium bodied A D has a dry sweety and toasted malts finish. The unpleasant sourish feeling ( infected ? ) leads to a not easy drinkable Abbey Dubble and overall a not really convincing brew.
