Our Imperial Stout is an impressive, ebony black beer with gorgeous ruby hued highlights, Brewed with several kinds of rich caramel and roasted malts, this robust, full-bodied stout is packed with sensuous chocolate and coffee flavors. The complex roastiness of this brew is interwoven with rich toffee, subtle dark fruit and a hint of anise to round off the malt experience. The intense maltiness is balanced with a floral hop flavor and the aroma from Cascade and Golding hops. With an immense original gravity of 23 Plato, this opulent beer finishes at 10% alcohol by volume. Imperial Stout is a lavish blend of sumptuous flavors, it is silky smooth and deceptively strong.

Pretty nice brew. Big thanks to Chris for passing this beer along. Pitch black, quick rising head. Nose with burnt coffee, dark chocolate and inkling of smoke. Flavors are similar, very smooth with a bittersweet finish.

slight hoppiness atop a medium bodied sweet impy stout. overall a nice beer for an ok price, but far from elite for an imperial stout, my favorite style.

Aroma is fairly strong and smoky, and has good tones of roast coffee, molasses and semi-sweet chocolate. It pours a deep sable with a fairly thick dark tan head that leaves some respectable lacing. Rich flavor is smoky and surprisingly hoppy, fairly bitter, subtly sweet, tones of oak, quality coffee and chocolate with a hint of brown sugar. Texture is almost as smooth as soymilk and fairly tingly, leaving a nice fizzy and slightly bitter finish. I recommend this one to stout fans.

Jet black pour with nice tan head and ample lacing. Aromas of slightly roasted malts, butterscotch, brown sugand alcohol. Taste has the butterscotch quality but not overwhelmingly so with roasted malts and slightly earthy hops. Decent brew.
