This came as a surprise, the first time I opened a bottle. I was expecting something else, and met with a glorious taste, which although slightly more nitter than expected, settled. (Probably due to my tongue being numbed) Excellent with strong cheese, curry, and Salami, those great Scottish foods.

500 ml capped bottle. Poured a clear oak-burgundy coloured ale with a generous three fingers tan creamy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Soft carbonation. Great lacing. The aroma is vegetables (!), green olives, molasses, fruity, dates, bananas, roasted malts. The flavour is caramel malts, brown sugar, honey, fruity, dates and syrupy. The mouthfeel is creamy. This medium to full bodied ale has along sweety and bitter finish. The alcool is well hiddden. A too one dimensional ( sweety ) ale.

Bottle. Poured a dark brown colour with a moderate sized, long lasting white head with good lacing. Sweet, yeasty aroma. Sweet malty taste dominates. Nice, creamy, slightly carbonated mouthfeel. This is another beer accident waiting to happen. It goes down very easy, too easy.
