(Draught / keg). It is debatable if this is a bitter or a Scottish ale. Copper coloured. Flavourful, rich malty taste. Low bitterness. Not bad for a moderate ABV "macro" keg ale.

My grandpa used to have this stuff shipped to him. I remember stealing one out of the fridge, thought it was horrible. Who would have thought years later it would be my favorite.

a wonderful pint to sit down with a friend. Sweeter than most scottish ales I have tried.

A top notch session drink that is pretty much exclusive to North East England at 3.6% you can drink gallons of this stuff before you fall over.Taste wise its nothing fantastic other than a typical roasted barley scottish ale hints of coffee and smoke its a very easy pint to drink.
