3/3/04 Bottle. As with the others, label claims Wilmington, NC but everything else matches this description. Slightly cloudy golden color. Only a thin film of a head that clings at the edges. Pretty carbonation that continues and sticks around. Aromas of cooked carrots and brussels sprouts, Fruit Loops cereal, whole grain bread, creamsicle. Flavor is canned peaches, biscuit dough, honey and butter. Then it all disappears for a quick finish with a juicy burst of tart hops. Not well balanced at all; a nice herbal quality would really even this beer out.

It makes a statement with the black label, but thats about the extent of it. I'd rather have a PBR.
