this was easily the most unique of Magnolias line-up, if only because I haven't had much exposure to bitters as strong as impy stouts and dopplebocks. sweeter than a "normal" esb, but the hop presence is earthy and grassy. still there, but overshadowed a little by the malt. not bad overall.
