Nicely reddish-brownish amber coloured brew with medium soft creamy foam. The aroma is not so good: despite malt domination somehow grassy and rotten smell can be unpleasantly felt. Medium bodied, has very characteristic beginning with moderately sweetish palate. Characteristically malty, nicely and purely sweetish and fruity, with some caramel hints, also some slight hop traces can be felt; finish is mildly yeasty with attendant soft sweetness and some citrus sourness. The aftertaste is sweetish malty and very long lasting.Quite nice, solid and characteristic brew. Poured in champagne bottles with a Paris Notre Dame on a label. Good and pleasantly drinkable beer. Plus, looks very elegant. Tried in Montpellier (France).

Amber in color with a full head. Nice heavy foil collar and attractive label on this 750 ml bottle - very French. Light, sweet malt in the nose with a bit of an acidic characteristic. Mouthfeel was nice and the carbonation danced on the tongue. Sweet and sour flavor to the beer with a mild malty finish and aftertaste. Very little to no hop presence.
