Crisp, clean, and refreshing, this pilsner is styled after the original Bohemian classic from the town of Pizen, Czech Republic, Pilz is a golden-colored brew that balances a pleasant hoppiness with its smooth malt flavor. It finishes dry with a moderate bitterness that is a hallmark of the style. Available Year-round.

Enjoyed in Texas at the end of January, 2020. Light golden colour with a frothy off-white cap, leaving dirty foam lacing. Alcohol nose with mild cereal grains and Saaz hops. Bitter taste, over the light cereal malts. The mouthfeel is quite dry. A nice hoppy pilsner with some spicy hops.

A very grainy pilsener that somehow manages to hit the spot just right. A quite effervescent clear golden pour with a white cap. Floral hops and grainy malt make up the aroma. The flavour has more bite than a traditional North American lager with fuller flavour.

Can't believe that I have never rated this one yet. One of my favorite pilsners this features spicey hops that give it a decent bitterness there is a little grassines in there as well, heartier than the average pils but rather nice.

Sampled on draft at the Flying Saucer, Addison. Pours a clear gold with a minimal white head and nice lacing. Aroma is grassy and spicy. Flavor is bitter and dominated by pepper spice with citrus. Euro malt backbone. Medium-bodied and well carbonated. Clean finish. I've been wanting to try this one for a while, and it was worth the wait.
