Keepers Stout is an award winning, authentic example of a classic Irish style, full-bodied, black ale that pours with a rich, creamy head. Bold, complex flavours of espresso and fine, dark chocolate build to a pleasingly mild roasted malt finish. Food Pairing: Keepers Stout is a great compliment to a variety of foods. Try it with rich, dark chocolate and fruit desserts, such as stout cheesecake with raspberry sauce, pecans or caramel. Keepers also pairs well with hearty foods such as meaty dishes with gravy, shepherd’s pie or any robust winter stew. For something different, a sleeve of Keepers and Oysters Rockefeller make a great combination!

Pretty much a black body with a tall rocky cap floating on top. Lighter aroma for a stout, roasted malts, liquorish, very mild coffee, I do hit banana and it ends with sour pennies. Light dry chalky chocolate served in a bar ashtray........... that sounds bad but I mean it in a good way kind of. Sweetness and fruit show up when room temp. DAM YOU VBS!!!! you say lime now that's all I taste. Like all Lighthouse brews this is completely drinkable but falls short compared to others of the same style.
