Beer of the month of April 2014. As spring settles in and thirsts become restless, the Blossom comes in with its refreshing lightness. The Tettnang hops and the corn that make up this springtime beer give it the sort of finesse that will undoubtedly inspire your taste buds.

Pours very minimal head and has a straw coloured appearance. Very mild malty and sweet aromas and a tad grainy. Flavours are sweet malts, very faint fruity notes and that graininess again. Light bodied, fair retention. Quite a bit of a disappointment. The regular "Blonde's" tamer version.

Pint at the Ottawa brewpub. Pours a clean yellow colour with a small white head and minimal lacing. Mild floral aromas with hints of hops and yeast. Refreshing mouthfeel with decent medium body. Grainy cereal blonde ale taste with notes of the same found in the nose: yeast and hops. Does what it needs to do. Easy drinking blonde summer ale, but nothing really exciting.
