BOURBON BARREL-AGED IMPERIAL STOUT WITH VANILLA AND CARAMEL 15.1% Inspired by the Latin American dessert, this pastry stout this offers a creamy, caramel sweetness characterized by toffee and butterscotch with a subtle vanilla finish. The bourbon flavours imparted by 13 months in the barrels contribute hints of caramel, pecan and nutmeg which complement the dessert-forward notes of this decadent beer. Pour over a fresh churro and experience una delicia!

375 ml waxed top bottle, from Vinmonopolet Etne. ABV is 15.1%. Black colour, moderate tan head. Boozy aroma, notes of fusel, bourbon and raw alcohol, also notes of caramel and vanilla. Warming mouthfeel, low carbonation. Rich and very sweet flavour, notes of caramel, chocolate and vanilla, also bourbon and oak. Too sweet for me, won't buy again.
