(330 ml bottle, bought in Denmark. ABV was 8.5%.) Hazy golden colour, large lasting head. Strong sweetish yeasty and fruity aroma. Flavour is sweet but not cloying, yeasty and spicy (cloves), reasonably malty with a decent hoppy bitterness which leaves a pleasant aftertaste. Not a bad triple, but like others of this style the yeast is a bit too dominant to be "perfect" in my book. I won’t mind having another one, though. You’re buying? Thank you very much, mate!

Nice darker yellow color and white foam, just enough bitter for this triple. Low on carbon gas, lasting taste. But still for a tripel not the top, expected more from Leffe.

Pours thin yellow and carbonated. If you don't like the blonde ale, you probably won't like this one either. Taste is similar but lighter. Not too high abv for a tripel.

Probably my favorite Leffe beer. Ordered it in a Leffe glass in Brugge that I purchased and brought home. An excellent brew. The pour is beautiful and has a rich thick white head. Goes down very smooth and flavor is enhanced by proper spices and is a great tripel!

Hazy dark yellow colour with big foamy head, lacing. Fruity, yeasty and a bit wheaty aroma with weak alcoholic notes. Strong yeasty fruity flavour with hints of honey and weak alcohol becoming more present in finish and aftertaste. Sweet aftertaste too, and stocky palate.

Sampled this beer at Auberge Douceurs Belges in Quebec City, September 2005. Poured a golden-beige-amber colour that was lightly cloudy. Lots of small sediments all over, small head and some little fizzy wavy lacing. Great aromas composed of many spices, peach, mango, Belgian yeast and bits of plums. Dry and edgy mouthfeel. Lots of alcohol in the taste at first. Very strong tasting start. No sweetness found here. Fruits and spices are present in the aftertaste (mostly oranges). Beautiful nose, but a bit too strong on the taste, alcohol being too present.

hazy orange colour with a fine head and a correct lacing, spicy, bready and honeyish nose, creamy mouthfeel, medium to full body, some sweetness and tartness followed by a decent bitterness, moderately dry yeasty finish with some sugars remaining

A good strong abbey beer. Yeasty with visible sediments. Very warming, not suprising, given the alcohol content. The alcohol os not overwheliming though.
