750ml bottle from Marché Omni. Pours a big thick frothy beige head and has a dark murky brown appearance. Some nice sticky lacing. Aromas are a little bit woodsy, barley malts, toasted malts, vanilla. Flavours are mostly roasted malts, hints of chocolate, vanilla, a little bit of sweetness. Alcohol is fairly noticeable, coming from some whisky/bourbon barrels and it shows. It's still very easy to drink, has a smooth and slick mouthfeel. Slight bitterness on the palate towards the finish. Exceptional brew, well done and well balanced as well. Only complaint, a tad pricey. *note: 10%abv, aged in American Bourbon barrels.

Pours a very dark colour with red highlights and a tanned head that has decent retention and lace. Aromas are very mild with some caramel malt and candy. Smooth and creamy mouthfeel. No burn, just the taste of coffee and roasted malt with some light bitterness. Very close to their Sang-d'encre brew, but less watery, with a thicker mouthfeel and a dose more of alcohol. Great stuff.
