500ml bottle for the brewpub. Pours a huge frothy brownish head and has a dark brown appearance. Lots of thick dirty lacing stays behind. Aromas of dark roasted malts, hints of chocolate and vanilla. Flavours are mostly chocolatey, subtle notes of cocoa nibs and hints of coffee. Lots of sweetness on the palate, not too bitter either. Quite a smooth and slick mouthfeel. Lively carbonation. Pretty good and would've loved to have tried on tap at the pub but tried other ones instead.
