A black colored beer with a big sudsy textured brown head rises above. There's some hang time on that head. A thin ringlet is left. Very much chocolate roasted in total profile. A light bodied beer. While drinkable it fell short of potential in the style.

Drawn jet black with a two finger tan head and decent retention. Some nice lacing. Strong dark chocolate and caramel aromas with a hint of coffee. Coffee is more pronounced in the taste - along with rich roasted malt and chocolate. Creamy mouthfeel with light carbonation.
