This is a light, wheat ale designed to be clean, crisp and very drinkable. A pale straw color with a medium head and a delicate earthy, herbal aroma, the flavor offers delicate sweet fruit notes balanced with just a touch of bitterness from the German hop varietals. A perfect beer for sunny, summer weather, it’s like a refreshing San Diego day in a glass.

Sampled at the brewery on 3/21/2013. This American Wheat Ale pours a medium orange gold color from the tap. Medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity, wheaty and sweet. A medium bodied wheat ale. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are herbal and spicy. Decent carbonation. It’s a touch sweet for a wheat ale, but it has a lot of body and flavor as well. Very drinkable. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
