Sampled at the brewery on 3/22/2013. This stout pours a dark brown/black color. Medium sized beige/tan foamy head. The aroma is chocolate, coffee, roasted malts and spicy, A medium bodied stout. The malts are earthy and herbal. Decent carbonation. Hint of rye and some coconut at the finish. Some malt sweetness as well. The coconut is in the background and goes well with the chocolate and coffee. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.
