In the mood for something refreshing, Terrance made a Kölsch-style beer, the ale version of a pilsner. Terrance’s beer lands in the glass straw-colored with a mild biscuity Kölsch malt, spicy noble hop aroma, and subtle fruity esters rise out of the rocky white head. Slight peppery and earthy hop flavors lead to a crisp, German lager finish with a lasting pleasant hop spiciness. To sum this thing up: Aaahh. Terrance will get along well with traditional German fare: a bratwurst on a pretzel roll or a thick slice of gouda cheese with onions on pumpernickel bread. The effervescence will cut the buttery flavors of a lobster scampi or garlic shrimp pasta dish.

Bomber from PfoxyJohn. Straight up yellow pour, big white head, nice lacing. Sweet malts, apples, nice hops presence in the initial aromas and palate, hint of black pepper, more hops! For a Kolsch this is outstanding! Clean, tasty, spicy, rather bold - not boring whatsoever. Thank John!
