From heybeerman, and shared with a good friend. Thoroughly enjoyable Scotch Ale, and a bolder offering than their Warped Speed. Earthy fruitiness, baked goods sweetness, and a toasted nuttiness. Billowing head on top of a clear amber~brown body. Medium bodied and satisfying. A great brew to share on a chilly Autumn evening.

Big sweet and chocolatey. Not a whole lot of complexity, as ther is little to no hop presence or peat malt smokiness, but it still works. Smooth.bodied dessert beer.

Big malty aroma with a bit of grass on the end, almost makes me hungry just from smelling it. Slight hazy brown with wispy head, sort of elusive looking but sort of unimpressive looking as well. Flavor is more rich malt with just enough scotch ale flavor to make it qualify, not too earthy or peaty but very complex flavor anyway. Much better than Warped Speed if you are familiar with Lake Louie, deffinitely an interesting beer.

crossed out, but why? .. . bitter molasses and dark syrup aromas in the nose .. good foam, firm healthy lacing .. slightly meaty aftertaste, dusty light chocolate notes, but not something i could drink everyday .. pretty good but i like my scotches peaty! .. . The pen is mightier than the sword, and considerably easier to write with..

Another fine Wisconsin beer from pfoxyjohn. Pours a heavy hazy tea brown with a thick tan head and lots of lacing. Aromas of tons of sweet malts, sour mash whiskey with a slight lemon, sweet and smoky peat. Taste is slightly sourish with a lemony-smoky-whiskey flavor and a thickness and hearty backbone from the sweet malts. One of my favorite styles - thanks again John.

Pours from the bottle a deep mahogany, forming a thin tan head. Earthy, wine-like fruit-sweet aroma with a whisp of smoke. Smooth mouthfeel and medium-bodied. Lightly sweet, lightly roasted malt flavors, subtle fruit and peat notes, and a satisfyingly warm finish.

Poured a reddish amber color with a small, off white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of peat smoked malt, caramel malts, and butterscotch. Taste of caramel, nuts, smoke, and alcohol.
