Not really what I usually go for, but I really liked the bottle and had $7 I just needed to spend. Served in a tulip glass, it was picture perfect to look at. It's a return to style for me, as I tired of Belgians this summer (I know it's from France). Very subtle aroma, notes of a wet ocean sand (really?). Smooth, subtle, no real notice of juniper berries. I actually like it, it's a tame, yet still 7% Belgian. And the yeast notes don't overwhelm. The two ladies I was with both really liked it too.

Bottled. Slightly hazy yellowish golden colour with a small foamy white head. Also some particles floating around. Aroma is fruity, quite herbal and earthy along with some yeast and mild spices. Flavour is being quite similar, ut the maltyness is quite much stronger than in the aroma.

flavoured with juniper berries - hazy amber-orange colour with tons of yeast floating, fine head, aroma of berries, vinous, lot of carbonation, tart with some acidity, very dry with some alcohol notes in the finish - hard to drink
