A brown, Belgian-style abbey ale. Caramel, banana, biscuit and fruity-aromas contribute to the balance of this strong, complex beer. A sweet, bready and caramel flavor follows with a silky, creamy finish.

Pours translucent sepia with a decent buff head. Aroma presents banana, caramel and toasty malt notes. Sharp flavor adds cherries and a bit of sourness to the mix that the aroma promises. Figs pop up in the finish. Texture features average body, but good fizz. Nine, neuf, neun, nueve - it adds up to a good brew.

    Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 7

Thick, hazy brown body with very little head. The aroma is a bit of bananas foster. Almost cake-like malt. The flavor has a bit of tartness. Very grapey, vinuous. A bit flat and the flavors don’t mesh well.
