The symbol of the Musketeers has been connected to the Krušovice Brewery for many years. Musketeer beer was being produced in first half of the 1980's and the Royal Brewery of Krušovice has formed a link with this tradition by establishing the special Musketeer Lager. This beer is brewed in accordance with a special recipe developed by Krušovice's Master Brewers. This lager beer has a strong golden colour, a pleasant bitter hop taste, a full sweet body and a compact foam. A combination of several types of Bohemian and Moravian malts in a precisely defined ratio, natural spring water from the Køivoklát Woods and hops from the Žatec area.

A refreshing Czech Pilsener that pours a pale straw colour with a thin white head. The aroma was weak, but once could discern notes of cereal, grass, and some hops. The flavour was malt and little else. Better than a North American pale lager any day.

Dark golden colour, mediumsized white head. Weak semi-bitter malty aroma. Complex flavour, halfbitter ricy/maizy flavour with malty andd caramelly hints. Vegetably aftertaste. Very smooth palate. Refreshing.

This is an excellent Czech lager! It is a pilsner lager and is THE best Czech pilsner I have ever had! The aroma is flowery, malty and hoppy. The appearance is golden, the head is a creamy 2 inch head that falls to a 1 inch head about half way through the glass. The body is full and makes for a very nice mouthfeel and swishes excellently back and forth. The hops are wonderfully balanced with the malts and the alcohol is present but does not overpower the taste yet compliments it. The flavor is a creamy, sweet hoppy brew taste which is quite complex and leaves a very interesting malty aftertaste that has about a two minute staying power. I would recommmend this beer to everyone and especially to those who enjoy Pilsners and even those who enjoy Pale Ales because I have turned some IPA guys on to this brew! PROST!
