500 ml flip-top bottle bought at the brewery. Poured in the original old Bamberger Gold glass a clear golden orange colored Pils with a good two fingers white creamy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Active carbonation. Superb lacing. The aroma is grassy hops on a solid bready malts basis, notes of hay. The flavour is a magnificent grassy hoppy bitterness, grainy malts and a touch of fruits. The mouthfeel is crispy and very smooth. The balance bitterness / maltiness is perfect. This medium bodied Pils has a lingering hoppy bitter finish. The name of this Pils is correct. This is, for me, a real " Gold " Pils.
