    Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 7

Aroma is mainly of molasses with a smoky undertone, not much more. It pours a dark semi-transparent ruby-tinted sable with a thin tan head that dissipates quickly. Flavor is mainly of molasses with hints of caramel, licorice and smoke. Texture is smooth and a little fizzy but not too tingly. I’ve had better - but this is palatable.

Big 750 shared by Robert at SL. The pour was ruby-brown in color, big generous initial head, subsides to a thin coating, yields ok lacing. The aroma was odd, some vegetal aspects mixed in with the roasted/smokey caramel base. The flavor was anything but imperial stout-like, styrofoam mixed in with the vegetal elements, full sweet caramel, toasted nuts, and fruity sweetness (even candi-sugared?). Mouthfeel was fairly thin for an impy stout, moderate for a BSA. Dunno, this one didn't work for me, eccentric and unique, though. Thanks either way for sharing, Robert!

Bottled. Dark brown/black colour with huge brown head. Aroma is berries, roasted malts with some slight caramel and alcohol. Flavour is burnt wood, roasted malts, caramel, sweetish berries in the background and slight acidicness. Aftertaste is acidic fruits along with some rather burnt notes. Pleasant.

Very hazy dark brown colour with firm tan-coloured foam. Sweet aroma of chocolate sauce, cocoa-powder, vanilla, almonds, metal and figs. Full and sweet malty flavour of nuts, milky chocolte, Cocoa, almonds and whippet cream. Sweet finish of chocolate-sauce, almond-paste, neutral yeast, hay and metal. Almost no hops involved.
