Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7
Pours clear amber with a thick and fairly persistent beige head. Aroma starts with strong smoky notes and adds roast malt, bean and woody tones as you close in. Flavor gives roast malt, smoky, bitter woody hops, and beans notes - distinctive and pleasing. Texture features fair body and perky fizz. Gotta love the Japanese.
