FLAVOUR CHARACTERISTICS An authentic Czech-style Pils Lager brewed with only 100% imported Bohemian malts, Saaz hops and a true strain of Czech yeast. King Pilsner is bright golden coloured, full-bodied beer with a refreshing taste. It delivers a soft texture, complimented by the proper balance of malt and Saaz hops. Its flavour begins with a pleasing malty taste, imparts a dry bitter tang, and finishes very cleanly. Consumers are quoted saying "there is not a beer in Canada that tastes like King Pilsner", and "this beer tastes like the true Pilsners in Europe". FOOD PAIRINGS An extremely versatile beer that will match a wide variety of dishes. Excellent with everything from shellfish, cream soups, salads, and sandwiches to bright, lively, and spicy cuisine such as Mexican and Thai. An excellent aperitif, it also matches a wide variety of cheeses. ALCOHOL CONTENT 4.8% ABV

Purchased a 6-pack of this at the LCBO. Second brew tried from this brewery. Says "Ultra Premium Beer" on top label and box (did not know that something could be more than premium). Pours a slightly hazy golden colour with a frothy white cap that gives out loads of lacing. Nice grainy sweet malt nose. Decent medium-bodied with a little dryness, a little crispiness and well-balanced with some wetness. The hop shows up more in the taste. Not as sweet as the aromas, grainy with beautiful grass and slight bitterness in the finish. A really good Canadian Pilsner that is pretty close to most good Euro ones.

The beer was translucent, gold in colour, and had a thin white head. The aroma was biscuity malt, with a small amount of hoppy floralness. The mouthfeel was crisp, medium bodied, with medium carbonation. The flavour was grainy malt, a little fruity sweetness, and a small hoppish finish.
